Jean-Baptiste Scotin
Catherine Tekakouita (St. Kateri Tekakwitha)

1753
Engraving
In Claude Charles Le Roy de Bacqueville de la Potherie, Histoire de l'Amerique Septentrionale, vol. 1.

The engraving is clearly based on the Chauchetière painting, but the caption specifies that St. Kateri was an Iroquois so she is portrayed with a broader nose and darker skin. As in the Chauchetière she contemplates the cross in a dark cloak and a short tunic over a robe and leggings.
